The Visitor Services teams of Geneva’s museums offer a wide range of educational, creative and/or fun activities that accompany and enrich the visitor experience.
“MiS – Swiss Imaginary Museum” is a cooperative venture by associations, institutions and representatives from the fields of culture and education, which invites visitors to create their ideal museum by choosing, photographing and commenting on their favourite objects.
4 walks interspersed with enlightening discoveries and amusing historical anecdotes to explore Geneva from a different perspective, strolling from one museum to another.
Held annually in May, Museum Night is a chance for frequent visitors to explore our museums from a different perspective and enables the curious to discover new places in a colourful, upbeat atmosphere. The event has a different theme every year that inspires the museum programmes, where creative gems are put on show especially for the occasion.
