The European Artistic Crafts Days were created in 2013, at the same time as the Nuit des Musées (Night of the Museums).

The event aims to preserve and promote the professions involved in heritage conservation, contemporary creation and the dissemination of culture. It also seeks to ensure that rare skills are passed on to future generations.

Taking place over three days, the event shines a light on various cultural professions (intangible heritage, innovation, manual labour) and gives the public the opportunity to meet Geneva’s artisans. It’s a unique opportunity to meet these people and discover the richness, diversity and complexity of their work, tools and creative materials.

This annual gathering of knowledge sharing has become an unmissable event. The next JEMA will take place in March 2026.
